Looking Back on a Successful Year

A retrospective look at the past year

Looking back at the end of 2019, it’s clear this has been another great year for Accordio, which has worked on an enormous range of projects for some absolutely fantastic clients.

We’ve worked with a couple of forward-thinking London boroughs, recovering multi-million pound projects, supporting IT teams through a challenging period of change, procuring and implementing ways of supporting new in-house waste services and much more.

We’ve also created a new IT operating model and strategy for a district council in the north west of the country; what’s even more rewarding is that we have since been asked to support them in its implementation. Reviewing a dozen shared services for three district councils in southern England was another interesting project that built on expertise gained over many years working with local authorities across Kent.

Meanwhile our schools offer has gone from strength to strength. Our data protection and Freedom of Information support services are still very much in demand, with more schools signing up throughout the year.

Moving on from that success, we’ve listened to our clients’ wishes and launched a new range of school business management services aimed at helping schools deliver their vital support services at lower cost while identifying savings and efficiencies. These services, launched as 2019 ended and 2020 began, are designed to free up more cash for what matters – providing top-notch education.

The coming year is looking equally exciting, with a continued focus on supporting existing clients while developing exciting new services. As 2020 gets underway, we look forward to talking to organisations that would like to benefit from our top-quality, cost effective support.
