Outsourced Freedom of Information (FoI)
Accordio continues to expand its offer across the country as well as delivering new services such as the outsourced Freedom of Information (FoI) offer that has proved popular with schools and other public bodies across the south east.
The team is currently working in the London Boroughs of Greenwich and Tower Hamlets as well as in West Lancashire, where Accordio is working with colleagues from RedQuadrant to carry out a sustainable orgaisation review aimed at making the authority fit for purpose and self-sufficient.
Accordio’s role in West Lancashire is to deliver an IT-focused workstream, which involves looking at how the council’s current IT provision can be reshaped, creating a new information technology strategy and supporting the senior team in creating and developing in-house IT leadership.
The ultimate aim of the support work is to help the council deliver its ambitious digital and customer relationship management programme.
Closer to home, Accordio is working aongside SOCITM Advisory to deliver operational improvements to the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s IT function. The work includes delivering a number of high-profile corporate technology projects and developing a new IT strategy and operating model.
Meanwhile schools across the south east have been keen to renew their General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) support contracts, with a number taking advantage of a three-year fixed price offer and signing up for additional FoI support.
